So I got asked to design an advertisement to go in a newspaper for a garage a friend of mine works for. I enjoy graphic design and it's a bit of a hobby, so was happy to do it for him. After I made and sent him the finale piece he insisted on paying me for the work, and I kinda got a bit emotional because I've often done work for friends/family and thought nothing of it, but this was the first time someones actually paid me for something...and it's kinda hit me like...what I do it worth actual money?? I'm now wondering if, maybe, trying to get an apprenticeship or something could be worth it, as I've never had any actual training, I'm comple

I did my first day at work today! It went really well and time flies by when you're busy. Looking forward to continuing to work there. Everybody so far has been really nice! :)

I've been applying for jobs for a few weeks now, and today finally got a call back with a job offer! :D I'm both super excited and nervous to start (in a couple weeks time) and should be getting a call later this week with more details. Wish me luck!
